Monthly Pricing
At Whitcomb House there are no large entrance fees or hidden costs. One comprehensive monthly fee covers the cost of your unit, utilities (except for phone, internet and cable) and the services included in our care plans. We do not expect to bill for additional services.

Assisted Living Subsidies
Medicaid Benefit
Benefits:
(subject to change) Recipients may receive up to $1263 per month services subsidy and may receive an income subsidy of up to $700 per month depending on income.
Eligibility criteria include
:
Financial
- (requirements subject to change) Assets less than $2,000, monthly income below $2022,
Health
- need of assistance with at least one activity of daily living (ADL) for example, bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, medication reminders.
Veteran's Benefit
Veteran's Benefit
(subject to change) War time veterans and/or their widows or widowers may receive assisted living monthly subsidies of up to $1,703 per month for the veteran and a subsidy of $1094 for the surviving spouse or $2,631 for a couple when both are veterans.
Eligibility criteria include:
Financial
- monthly income less than the cost of medical care which includes the cost of assisted living
. Assets less than $80,000 to $100,000, plus a house and a car.
Health -
need of assistance in activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, medication reminders.
